Pearl Bloodstock represents Sheikh Fahad's bin Abdulla Al Thani’s personal racing and bloodstock interests.
Established in 2010, Pearl Bloodstock’s silks of yellow with blue stars were famously carried to victory by Dunaden in the 2011 Melbourne Cup. Sheikh Fahad’s triple Group 1 winner now stands at Overbury Stud.
Other notable Pearl Bloodstock owned horses include Lightening Pearl, winner of the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes, and Side Glance, a Group 1 winner in Australia and Group 1 placed in Europe, USA and Dubai.
The vast majority of Sheikh Fahad’s ownership interests lie with Qatar Racing, but Pearl Bloodstock still has horses in training in Britain, France, Ireland, Japan and USA.
